Well I never posted a Summer Break Journal. (Or at least I dont think so. Oh well.)

But since the beginning of the end (thank god) of middle school summer break has been pretty relaxing. I realize, now on the second half of my break, that this was not always to be the case.

First off was where I went last weekend. I had my family reunion. Normally we go to Roaring Rivers or Branson (if I havent told you already, I live in Missouri). But this year we decided to go to Oklahoma and have the reunion at my great grandpa's house. Now, the turnout was amazing. Most all of the family showed up. But the more people there are, the more people I have to get around to seeing. And trust me I have a BIG family.

On the up side, my best-friend/2nd (yes second) cousin, Heather, and her mom (my great aunt) live in Oklahoma. And me and my mom got to stay at their house versus the Holiday Inn the rest of the family bunked at. So did my other 2nd cousin Jessica. So it was all really fun overall. But then I played volleyball. A lot. So now Im back, and sore to prove it. Luckily I didnt get sunburned, but there will be more chances for that.

Now, this weekend I have my uncle and his son and daughter coming over for the 4th. Then I've got a cruise the week after, then I fly to New York with Heather, and her friend, and my friend, and then I have whatever meager time is left to get ready for the ever-approaching start of High School.

Now, don't get me wrong, Im looking foward to High School. Im not a 4.0 student but Im not sweating the work either. I'm seeing High School as an oppurtuinty rather than a curse, and I hope that optimism will get me somewhere.

I'd like to close this journal off with reminding you all the reasons I dont get around to writing many journals, along with my laziness.

1. Im in the process of writing my most recent story, Checkmate. (Appretiate it if you read some )

2. Im playing Xbox now that my friend got his fixed. (My GT is Alpha Bankai, add me)

3. Im playing Ragnarok Online again, but this time on the Earthbound RO private server. (My main is Excalibur.)

And of course I have all the vacations. So between all this, dont expect a lot of journal entries. But do expect more chapters of my story as I am excited to keep going with this one, and thank you to DarkLight53 in advance for taking up drawing a character picture. I really appretiate it! ^_^
